i've been enjoying my work and the people i get to work with since starting as a camera trainee in 1994.
more by accident than design i've fallen into working with a lot of well known names in the last few years.
in 2018 i filmed with michael palin, billy connolly, richard branson, sheridan smith, micky flanagan, ronnie wood, keith richards, mick jagger,
trevor mc.donald, richard e. grant and helena bonham carter.
not every shoot i do involves a public figure and i'm fortunate that my work is fantastically varied, i wouldn't want it any other way.
i don't consider myself precious about what i shoot, but i do care about how things are shot.
i've had my own kit for some years now, i tend to shoot on a panasonic varicam, a camera i love for lots of reasons. the varicam is the camera of choice for a lot of the men and women who shoot for the BBC natural history unit. i use primes as much as possible and only use a zoom if there's a good reason to do so.
