I spent the better part of 10 years as a freelance camera assistant, stopping at the end of 2002. I've been shooting ever since. I came into moving pictures from a stills background and continue taking mainly black and white photographs in my spare time and whilst away filming.
I've worked in 60 odd countries over the years, on documentaries, corporates and various TV programmes, shooting on Film, HD, Pro 35's, Digi and DSR's.
I have a crew van, a pretty comprehensive lighting kit and a P&S Tecknik 'Skater Dolly'.
This seems to work well for production companies that have their own camera gear. For those that don't, hiring what's needed is no problem.
I have a British passport with an I-Visa and I live in Stoke Newington, London with my wife and baby daughter.
